GONE! A Bunch of Miscellaneous “Window Treatments” – All Different, Individually Priced or $10 for the Entire Lot

We have a small lot of window “treatments”.  All seem to be decent quality and never used (the original price tags are still on them).

Condition:   Excellent.

Size:  Vary.

Price:  $2.00 each or $10 for the lot.  (Plus the usual 5.5% Maine State Sales tax, of course.)

Please note: The shop will be closed for about a month beginning in late August (dates still to be determined), while Linda visits her daughter and son-in-law for the birth of her first biological grandchild!  Prices on many items are being reduced prior to that time, to help get the shop cleared and organized, and ready for new inventory when Linda returns – in time for the holiday season.

Some Quick Details:

  • Prices Are Firm.  We do not negotiate on the prices listed in our blogs… they’re set based on what the item cost us and our expenses in running the shop.
  • Sales. We do occasionally have sales or reduce the prices on an item (usually if the item has been in the shop for at least 6 months with plenty of marketing).  If so, that reduced price will be posted.
  • Holding Items.  Sorry, not without payment.  We used to when we first opened the shops, and found that too often the person asking us to hold an item never came back and we lost sales in the interim to someone who was standing there with cash in hand. Obviously, that’s not good business.
  • Questions.  This is tough… I’d like to be responsive to everyone who has questions, but I work full time as a social worker, and full time at this shop hoping that someday it will make enough money so I can retire from that social work job.  This means I have very limited time to respond to questions, especially if those questions have already been answered in this blog or on our various posts.  So I may not have time to respond…
  • Dealers. We’re happy to talk to you!  Please remember to bring a copy of your State Resellers License.

GONE! A New Curb Alert Behind Heritage Collectibles

Beginning tonight (Friday, July 21st) after 5:00, there will be more free stuff in the alley behind Heritage Collectibles (189 Main Street, Lewiston) and Papa’s Thrift Shop (5 Park Street, Lewiston).  The alley is at the end of the building on the Park Street side, right after Papa’s.

In the meantime, there will be a few items for free TODAY in front of Heritage Collectibles. Only those items marked “FREE” are free; the rest are for sale.

We have all different free stuff.  Everything that had previously been out there is gone; replaced with the following items:

  • a lap desk
  • stuffed animals
  • lots of Christmas items
  • a swimming pool cleaner
  • a reclining lawn chair
  • several expensive window treatments
  • a set of roof racks
  • an entertainment center
  • miscellaneous other items

There’s nothing particularly interesting so far but there are definitely items that a flea marketer might be interested in.  If you want to take it all in one fell swoop, I’d be thrilled! (Sunday night I’m loading up what’s left and dropping it off at Goodwill.)

And who knows what else I’ll be putting out there before the end of the day!

Please be respectful and don’t make a mess in the alley or in front of the shop.  My landlord parks there and he’s been really really good to us, but he doesn’t like to see a mess – and who can blame him?  Thank you!

Frankly, we don’t know anything about bingo.  But we’re pretty sure all of these supplies are worth a lot more than the $10.00 we’re asking for everything here!

SOLD! A Pair of Patio Chairs for Enjoying Our Great Maine Weather! Now Just $25.00 But Not for Long!

This is a nice set of patio chairs – they’re wicked comfy and look pretty good, too!

We originally priced them at $50.00 for the pair, but just realized that some of the webbing underneath has been reinforced with duct tape.  We don’t know why, and they seem pretty solid, but for that reason, the price has been reduced.

They each come with a storage bag for the winter months.

Condition:  Seem to be in excellent condition except for the duct tape reinforcement..

Three Wood Dining Room Chairs, plus a damaged fourth one thrown in

We have three good, solid and heavy dining room table chairs available.  There’s a fourth one, but the rungs used for stabilizing it keep pulling apart.  It probably only needs some wood glue.  These were probably about $125 apiece years ago.

Condition:   Three are in very good shape.  The fourth one needs some minor repairs.

Price:  $45.00 for the 3 chairs.  We’ll throw in the fourth one for free.  (Plus the usual 5.5% Maine State Sales tax, of course.)
