Oh man, I just love this sign, and if it doesn’t sell, oh well….

It’s one of the heavy, older neon signs, not one of those lightweight new ones.  The colors are brilliant as you can see from the photos. I got it at an auction, where they had many other unbelievably cool vintage items from the same collector.  Wouldn’t I have loved to see that house!

Condition: Excellent.  It’s absolutely fabulous.

Price:  $325.00.  However, if you pay for it via PayPal by Friday evening, April 29, I’ll knock $50.00 off the price because the plan is to move it to a display booth I have at an antiques shop an hour’s drive away, and I worry that it will get bumped or broken while there. And that would make me cry. Seriously.

Shipping: For the same reason as above, I will NOT ship it.  Just a few days ago I used a professional shipping company to send an antique ceramic elephant to a customer in South Carolina, and between the lousy packaging and the service used to drive it there, the piece shattered.  And neon is even more fragile.  So please feel free to set up a time when you can come get it.

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who was passionate about the feel of real books in his hands… history was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a lot about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly read aloud passages to me, so we could discuss the ideas contained therein.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.
