Another piece that I just love!  The pop art style colors are just startling!  

The silhouette, or caricature, or whatever one wants to call it of a beautiful blonde (is she supposed to be Marilyn? I tend to think so), with just a few bold colors on a large sheet of heavy plastic makes for an amazing piece!

The antiques auctioneer I bought it from didn’t know the original purpose of this, but thought perhaps it had been used in advertising.  I also have no idea, but think it would be stunning centered on a bare wall behind a sofa or the head of a bed!

Dimensions: About 38″ wide x 33″ high.

Condition: Excellent, except for a couple of minor marks here and there.

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who was passionate about the feel of real books in his hands… history was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a lot about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly read aloud passages to me, so we could discuss the ideas contained therein.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.
