This quilt is just lovely with its cheerful bright pink patches tempered with the black floral ones. When I bid on this at a recent auction, I had no idea that apparently the quilt maker was related to the auctioneer – possibly his mother, based on the name safety-pinned to a small piece of paper on the back.

She had also priced the quilt, possibly for a church or other sale, and I decided to keep the price the same in her honor.

Whoever purchases this beautiful piece will get the crafter’s name in her own handwriting, still attached.

The quilt is reversible if you prefer it that way.

Condition:   Excellent.  I doubt it’s ever been used.

Dimensions:  7’3″ long by 5’7″ wide, so it’s slightly narrower than a standard full-sized quilt, not quite meeting the 78″ standard for a 12″ drop typical of a full-sized quilt.  

Price:  $75.00, plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax of $4.3 for a total of $79.13.
