A customer was ready to purchase this cabinet which had been sitting in the same location at my office for quite some time, but when I picked it up to carry it out to my Jeep so I could deliver it to the customer, it wobbled.

Huh? Wobbled?

I don’t know if the air was too dry (it was directly under a heating vent) or what, but there was no way I could sell this to the customer. So I drove it over to her and offered to give it for free. She declined; both she and her husband are in poor health, and she just didn’t want to deal with trying to tighten the screws or whatever it will take to get rid of the wobble.

And I’m pretty much in the same frame of mind. It’s been sitting here for a bit and I need the space. I’m no good with furniture repairs, so I’d just as soon give this to a friend or a follower of this website. Perhaps you’d like it? Absolutely free!


This is a great floor model jewelry chest with 7 drawers, two side cabinets and an upper cabinet with a mirror.

The drawers are lined with some kind of nice velvety material (as they should be); the side cabinets are intended for hanging chains, necklaces or other items. The top cabinet is designed for special pieces and rings.

Note the Queen Anne style legs.

Condition: While it has a number of small dings on the exterior, the drawers and cabinets are all clean and in excellent shape.  (There’s an area on the inside of the top lid which is damaged in the upper right hand corner, as shown in the photo below.)

It is a bit dusty, which I plan to clear off for you!

Dimensions:  39″ high x 17″ wide x 12″ deep.  The side cabinet doors are 20″ high.

Price:   $60.00. Plus 5.5% Maine State Sales tax of $3.30 for a total of $63.30.
