I’ve been searching without luck for information on the Asian artist known as Jaimy who created this elephant plant stand, as well as many other animal-themed items.

There’s not much I can tell you about this elephant. There’s one for sale on eBay for $99.00 but no description so I don’t know whether it’s the same size as this or not. I found another that sold for less money a year ago but it was smaller than the one we have. Therefore, I’ve priced this one less than what’s on eBay, but more than the smaller one.

What is obvious though is the detail that went into creating this piece. Just look at the photos!

The elephant plant stand is made of resin, which makes it lightweight and durable, so it should last a long time without the kinds of damage seen with cement or concrete pieces, although I don’t think this guy was ever in an outside garden. His condition is too good, with no discolorations at all. Both pieces I found on-line were described as vintage, so apparently this guy is at least 25 years old (which is the common definition of vintage).

Condition: Our elephant plant stand is in excellent condition.

Dimensions:  11″ tall x 11 1/2″ long x 9 1/2″ wide.

Price:   $78.00.  Plus, of course, the 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax of $4.29 for a total of $82.29
