We have between 3-4 dozen old roofing slates.  Most are in excellent condition with the original nail holes (given the fact that they are old), although there are some smaller, broken pieces.

The slate is presently located in Auburn, but will be moving to the Undercover Flea Market in Oxford at some point (when I get a chance to get up there).  To purchase prior to then, please contact Linda at LSnyder@regroupbiz.com.

Price:  $50 for all of it, plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax, of course.

Condition:  Mostly very good, given the type of item it is.

NOTE:  Our 14,000 books, plus maps, sheet music and art are now available primarily on-line (with local delivery in the Auburn, Maine area available), while some of our vintage, antique and other inventory can be found at the Undercover Antique Mall in Oxford.  We are booth number 56.

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who loved the feel of real books in his hands… history was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a lot about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly read aloud passages to me, so we could discuss the ideas contained therein.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.
