As we’ve been buying books for Heritage Books, we’ve ended up with several shelves of contemporary hardcover fiction.  Although we have great respect for fiction writers (ha! especially SCIENCE fiction writers!), our interests lie more in the non-fiction arena.  We suspect most of our customers will feel the same.

So we’d just as soon sell our collection of contemporary hardcover fiction inexpensively, to make room for the history & politics, architecture, art, social sciences, travel & gardening, cookbooks and first editions that we’re far more interested in.

Therefore, all of our hardcover contemporary fiction is on sale for $1.95 each.  Buy 4 and get a 5th book free!

Condition:  Most of our contemporary hardcover fiction is in “like new” or “excellent” condition, although some of the books smell a little musty, apparently from poor storage prior to our taking possession of them.

Price:  All of our contemporary hardcover fiction is currently just $1.95; with Maine state sales tax of 11c added, that means each book is just $2.06.
Please note, we do not artificially inflate our prices, then give discounts to people who ask for one.  Our prices are our prices, unless we happen to have a sale going on.  Thanks for understanding!

Hours:  Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera is generally open Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  However, we may also be open at other times, and if Heritage Collectibles is open and not busy, we’d be glad to open up the bookstore for you!
