This vintage chair with leather seat came out of a 1795 farmhouse in Harpswell, along with several other pieces you’ll find via the “Search” feature on this blog. The chair with the yellow fabric seat also shown in the picture is almost identical in size and design; review the blog under “Lyre Back Chair”.
Dimensions: 17 1/2″ H (to the seat); 32 1/2″ H (to top of seat back) x 18 1/4″ W (widest part of the seat) x 18″D.
Condition: Good. The leather seat is intact, although it has some splits and beginnings of tears in a couple of places. The chair also has typical signs of wear and tear on the wooden parts, but it’s a quality piece for its age (whatever that might be).
Price: $15.00 plus Maine sales tax of 5.5% for a total of $15.83.

He loved our shops, especially Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – it was his baby.
He loved me, and oh how I loved him.
