SOLD! SALE! All American Rider Bike Bag with Fringe – Now Just $15.00!

bike-bag

This All American Rider motorcycle bag looks like it’s never been used… it’s in pretty perfect condition.

Yes, we know that the 2017 biking season is half over, but there’s always 2018!  And you won’t find a better deal than this… Husband says these same bags go for about $150 on-line… you can have this one for just $35.00!  Whoops!  MAKE THAT $15.00!!

Condition:  Excellent!

Dimensions:  About 21″W x 10″H x 12″D.

Price: Was $35.00…. now just $15.00!!    Plus the expected 5.5% State of Maine Sales Tax, of course.

Please note: The shop at 189 Main Street in Lewiston is closed from September 1-25, 2017 while Linda visits her daughter, son-in-law and new grandson!

Some Quick Details:

  • Prices Are Firm.  We do not negotiate on the prices listed in our blogs… they’re set based on what the item cost us and our expenses in running the shop.
  • Sales. We do occasionally have sales or reduce the prices on an item (usually if the item has been in the shop for at least 6 months with plenty of marketing).  If so, that reduced price will be posted.
  • Holding Items.  Sorry, not without payment.  We used to when we first opened the shops, and found that too often the person asking us to hold an item never came back and we lost sales in the interim to someone who was standing there with cash in hand. Obviously, that’s not good business.
  • Questions.  This is tough… I’d like to be responsive to everyone who has questions, but I work full time as a social worker, and full time at this shop hoping that someday it will make enough money so I can retire from that social work job.  This means I have very limited time to respond to questions, especially if those questions have already been answered in this blog or on our various posts.  So I may not have time to respond…
  • Dealers. We’re happy to talk to you!  Please remember to bring a copy of your State Resellers License.

SOLD! Vintage Roll Top Style Cedar-Lined Clothing Cabinet

cedar-closet-9cedar-closet-5

Here’s a vintage cedar-lined clothing cabinet waiting to be refinished and restored to its original beauty!  It’s surprisingly lightweight, too… the person we got it from carried it into the shop on his own.  (It’s just awkward to carry because of its size and shape.)

The cabinet has a roll top style “door” that slides easily (and reduces the space needed); it also has a pole for hanging clothing as shown in the pictures.  Because it has a flat top, there’s room for additional storage overhead.

Condition:  This piece has been well-used and it shows (see the pictures below).  But overall, it’s a great piece and if refinished, would be gorgeous.

Dimensions:  About 60″H x 24″W x 20″D.

Price:  $48.00.    (Plus the obligatory 5.5% State of Maine Sales Tax, of course.)

Layaway Plan:  Please see our “Details: Layaway Plan” page.

Payment Information:   Please see our “Details: Payment & Pricing” page.

SOLD! 2 Sliding Patio Screen Doors

screen-doors screen-doors-6

We don’t ordinarily carry building materials – such as these sliding patio screen doors – but a recent clean-out netted us this pair.  (We were told they were the wrong size for the project at hand, and for various reasons just weren’t returned.)

I don’t know anything about measuring doors, so all I can tell you is what’s on the packaging – which you can also see in the pictures below.

Condition:  New; never used, never installed.

Dimensions:  The package says 30″, fits 5′ wide.

Price:  $40.00 for the pair.  (Plus the obligatory 5.5% State of Maine Sales Tax, of course.)

***************

NOTE:  With the exception of books, maps & music, most of our antique and other inventory can now be found at the Undercover Antique Mall in Oxford.  FMI:  https://heritagecollectiblesmaine.com/details-hours/

We hope you will enjoy our revamped shop, as well as our booth in Oxford, as you did our original retail space on Main Street.

For those dying to check out the revamped Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps, we are still in the same building, but our new entrance is at the back of that building.

Just enter 9 Park Street, Lewiston into your GPS and park in the nearest available spot.  Our entrance is through the door at the end of the building on the right hand side.  You’ll see signs in the windows (“Retail Store” and “Heritage Collectibles” and “Antiques” as well as others; you’ll also see my silver Jeep Liberty parked nearby.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us since August of 2104!

SOLD! Vintage Sewing Machine Cabinets with the Sewing Machines

sewing-machine-table-maple sewing-machine-table-blond-2

We now have two wonderful vintage sewing machine cabinets, with the original sewing machines intact and inside.

These would make great project pieces (turn them into a plant cabinet, or desk, or whatever), or – if you’re so inclined – set yourself up for a day of sewing just like Grammie used to!

Condition:  The cabinets are in good shape, although they have some clear wear and tear from use over the years.  It is unknown if the sewing machine in either cabinet works.

Dimensions:  The mahogany cabinet is about 31″W x 31″H x 19″D.  The blonde cabinet is about 29″W x 31″H x 17″D.

Price:  The mahogany cabinet is now $30.00 (was $40.00); the blonde one is $25.00 (was $30.00).  Or, take both for $50.00!  (Plus the obligatory 5.5% State of Maine Sales Tax, of course.)

IT’S GONE!! — FREE! Dining Room Table!

table-damaged

Just before we loaded this table into the truck earlier this morning, it fell and was damaged.  (See the picture below.)

Since we have a couple of other similar tables in the shop – and not much available room for this one – we want to get rid of it today.

So, it’s FREE!  Please come and get it.  We close at 5:00, and will have to bring it back inside then, or take it to the dump.

Dimensions:  With the leaf, it’s about 5′ x 3′.  Or, as my husband says, it could also be seen as 3′ x 5′ if you have a short wide room instead of a long narrow room.  (My husband thinks he’s funny.  I am the long suffering wife.)

SOLD! Rustic Log Holder or Magazine Rack

Rustic Magazine Rack or Fireplace Log Holder

Rustic Magazine Rack or Fireplace Log Holder

We were told that this was an old magazine rack which it certainly could be, but it seems more likely that it’s a rustic fireplace log holder.  I think.  Both sides move open and shut, although the reason for that is unclear – it could just be for ease of storage or carrying.

Condition:  Rustic. Primitive.

Dimensions:  About 15″ tall x 15″ wide by 24″ long.  I think.

Location:  This item can be found at our booth (#23) at the Hathaway Mill Antique Mall, 10 Water Street, Waterville  ME 04901

Price:  Just $8.00!!    Plus the 5.5% State of Maine Sales Tax, of course.
