Come take a look at the different tools and hardware we have in stock!  The pictures here show just some of what we have.  (If you can tell me what some of this stuff is, that would be great.  Johnny knew tools; I only know what I learned from him.)

Condition:  Good to very good.  Most of what we’re offering is vintage.

Books! Contemporary Religious and Spiritual Books for the Lay Person

We have a great selection of several hundred contemporary and vintage religious and spiritual books, including some self-help and some for children.

The titles in the pictures above and below are representative of our inventory, although we’ve added a lot more since these photos were taken.  (Updated photos coming soon.)

Condition:  Most are in excellent, like-new condition although there are a couple of very old hardcovers with damaged bindings.

Prices:  The volumes are individually priced, and generally at least 20% less than you’d pay on Amazon.

Our Music Area Has Record Albums, Books, Sheet Music, Posters, Instruments and Years of Bass Player Magazines

Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps now has a room dedicated to music, and it is getting full!

We have hundreds of vintage records, including a few 1970s rock (YES!), sheet music & music books, posters, and instruments, including a vintage tambourine and a xylophone. A lot of our inventory has been sold, but there’s still a fair amount of interesting “stuff” left.

There’s also  a vintage F pipe from a pipe organ.

I personally have an old Fender guitar my dad gave me in 1972 that’s still in good shape, but I haven’t yet decided to give it up – even though I never learned how to play!  And then there’s my husband’s Roland and all of his gear and music, which probably should be sold some day but I can’t quite bear to let go of any of it yet.

In any event, we’ve had some seriously cool items in the past: a zither and a Celtic harp, but both of those sold almost as soon as I posted them.  I fully expect to pick up more whenever I can get my hands on such items.

SOLD! A Pair of Desktop Wooden Loons

Nice little pair of wooden loons, with faux pine needle decorations.  These appear to be handmade.  They look wonderful sitting on a bookcase or desk top!

Condition:  Very good.

SOLD! Vintage Child’s Easel Style Double Chalkboard

With a little bit of cleaning up, this vintage double-sided green chalkboard (similar to the one I spent hours drawing on as a child, but much larger!) would be great fun for any kid!  Or two kids playing at the same time, since it has a chalkboard on both sides of the easel!  The piece also has a great space to hold loads of chalk, erasers and so forth!

Condition:  Needs some cleaning up and repairs, but otherwise would be usable.  It appears to have been handmade, but I’ll have to take a closer look to make sure.  Note: The chalkboard got knocked over, and one of the chalk holders fell off, and needs to be reattached.

It also looks like it must have had something across the top; some of the older ones had a scroll of paper, although I don’t think that was the case here.  More likely, it had a plaque or signage of some kind (e.g. nursery rhymes).  A whiteboard could be affixed.

Dimensions: Larger than usual.  This is probably about 5′ tall although the chalkboard drawing area tops out at nearly 18″ below the peak of the frame.

Price:  Just $12.00 at Heritage Collectibles.  Plus the standard 5.5% sales tax, of course!

SOLD! Rustic / Primitive Jelly Cabinet

This rustic/primitive jelly cabinet was apparently pulled out of an old building in the Lewiston-Auburn area.  We got it from a customer who said he didn’t want to refinish it himself, and didn’t have room to store it.

You’ll note there’s no back to it.

Condition:  It’s primitive and will make a good project piece for someone.

Dimensions: about 5’H x 30″W (that’s a guess from memory while writing this at home; will post the actual dimensions soon).

I’m told this is part of a shelving unit from an old shoe shop, and that it’s worth about $30.00.  Since I don’t have a clue if that’s the case, we’re offering it for just $8.00 (was $15.00), as a project piece.

Dimensions:  44″H x 33″W x 14.5″D

Condition:  It’s in fair to good condition… it has a couple of cracks, as the pictures show.

Price:  Was $15.00; now just $12.00 at Heritage Collectibles.  Plus the standard 5.5% sales tax, of course!

These wonderful retro vintage folding chairs by Hampden have a bit of rust on them but are otherwise in great shape.  And where else can you find something as pretty as these, for such a small amount of money?
