This cast-stone horsie plant stand has been on display outside in my garden all summer, since purchasing it at an auction last spring… I just haven’t had time to get inventory onto this website, and now here it is fall already!
The horsie wasn’t used as a plant stand; my 3 year old grandson played on it and “rode” it all summer. However, it would look great with geraniums or perhaps a basket of English ivy settled into the saddle.
Other Info: It’s quite heavy, although I (a woman in my 60s) can lift it.
Condition: It’s in good condition. There are a few minor chips here and there, but overall it’s very nice. (I would not leave it outside all winter, though… why take chances?)
Dimensions: 20″ tall x 27″ wide x 10″ deep.
Price: $95.00. Plus Maine State Sales Tax of 5.5%.

This is a nice reproduction 4-shelf oak barrister bookcase. I bought it at an auction and planned to use it in my office but ended up purchasing too much furniture and there’s no room for it!
Because of this, I really don’t know much about it. It’s been wrapped since I picked it up several months ago, as I tried to decide whether to sell it or not.
The back is that heavy cardboard stuff. I don’t know what the rest of it is made of, but am assuming it’s some kind of composite wood.
It’s all one piece.
The price reflects that this is a newer reproduction. An all wood, original or antique would cost at least twice as much.
Other Info: 4 shelves with glass front panels.
Condition: It’s in good condition.
Dimensions: 61″ tall x 34″ wide x 13″ deep.
Price: $90.00. Plus Maine State Sales Tax of 5.5%.

This End Up furniture is known for its solid, durable design and workmanship, and is widely used by colleges, residential programs and private citizens.
I first learned about the company a few decades ago, and since then, have continued to see their products in a variety of settings.
The desk set and file cabinet pictured here, if purchased new, would cost around $1,700.00 or more, plus shipping… and given the sturdy construction of the pieces, that shipping is a bit pricey.
We purchased the set at an estate auction, from a higher end home in Scarborough (ME). It’s seen some use, and has a few dings but it’s still in great shape. After all, it’s This End Up furniture!
The file cabinet does not lock. The top drawer has a fitted plastic bin inside, which can likely be removed if you prefer.
The shelving unit on top of the desk is a separate piece.
Other Info: The desk is heavy! Please come prepared with two strong individuals to load the desk into your truck, as I am not able to help with it… it’s too much for me.
Condition: The desk chair has a caster that’s loose (that means it falls out if the chair isn’t squarely set on the floor). The desk has a drawer that sticks. Both are probably easy fixes by someone who’s even a trifle handy, which I am not.
Otherwise, every piece is in great condition.
Dimensions:
Computer Desk (3 pieces) and Chair. The desk has 3 drawers and a sliding keyboard tray: 29.5” high x 50” wide x 23.5” deep, with a shelving unit on top making it 52.5” high in total.
Side Desk Unit with two shelves: 29.5” high x 21” wide x 20” deep.
Chair on casters: 31.5” high (17.5” to seat) x 21” wide x 20” deep.
File Cabinet – 21 ” L x 18.5 ” W x 30 ” H
Pricing:
Desk Set (all pieces as seen in the first photo above): $245.00
File Cabinet: $95.00.
Desk Set & File Cabinet: $295.00.
Plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax (unless purchased by an exempt organization).

This table, crafted by Farley Assets of Thomaston (ME) is true craftsmanship. Look at the detail! It even has a seashell sealed in the center.
I doubt you’ll find a better example of this kind of work anywhere. It’s just… wow.
(Note: I had a brain cramp earlier and called this a stool. It is not a stool! Sheesh.)
Price: $195.00. Plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax, of course.
Condition: Excellent. Like new condition.
Dimensions: 19″ diameter (table top) x 29″ H.

This solid brass eagle door knocker weights a good 2 pounds or so. It would be a great addition to your front door!
Price: $38.00. Plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax, of course.
Condition: Very good. There’s a small discoloration on the front as you can see, but it doesn’t have any of the green patina that so many of these old pieces have..

Okay, I don’t really want to sell this dog, but if someone wants her badly enough, I probably should… After all, I did buy her at auction for resale.
Or I suppose I could just purchase Lassie the Big Green Dog from the business for my own use. (Can you tell from the price that I don’t really want to sell him? Then again, where will you ever find another?)
I mean, really…. how many of these were actually manufactured? How many actually sold? Who else has one and where do they live? Do their neighbors think they’re as odd as mine probably think I am?
I did a quick search and couldn’t find one listed anywhere. So if you’re willing to fork over a hundred bucks, you could be the new proud owner of Lassie Go Home!
(Please note, unless it’s an offer I can’t refuse, I probably will.)
Condition: Very good, used.
Price: $95.00 plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax.
Dimensions: To the point of her ears, Lassie is about 3 feet high.
Other Info: The “statue” is very lightweight… it’s not made of resin or cement, and it’s not really a plastic either. I have no idea what it’s made of. But it was purchased at an auction, having been displayed outside, and I’ve had her outside all summer with no damage or deterioration.
Shipping & Delivery: Please see the tabs above. 1) Details: Shipping & Delivery for mail order options (we do NOT recommend shipping this), and 2) Supporting the Grief Warrior Project if you’d like an appointment to see the item(s) in person prior to purchase.

Here are nearly 3 dozen movies and television series (for both kids and adults) on DVD that we collected back when we had the shop. I don’t know what kind of condition they’re in, and haven’t checked each individual case to make certain there’s a DVD in each, but the ones I did check are all intact.
Condition: Unknown.
Price: $24.00 plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax.
The items can be picked up from my office, but you’ll have to arrange a time when I will definitely be there.
There should be hours and hours of movie time here!
For the person who loves sewing, especially vintage styles, this may be the perfect lot for you!
I’m clearing stuff out so didn’t take the time to count, but think there are at least a dozen vintage sewing patterns in this pile as well as other items such as buttons.
Condition: We’ve had them for a while, and since they are not original with us, I’m not sure of what kind of shape they’re in. However, they do appear to be reasonably intact, inside their original packaging. There also appear to be some other mailed items that haven’t been opened.
You’ll have to decide from looking at the photos.
If everything was to be found in perfect condition, the entire lot is probably worth quite a bit.
Price: $40.00 for everything.
Check out our post “MCM Atomic Style Sewing Bench with 2 Compartments”… purchase that sewing bench ($70) with this box of vintage patterns and save! Just $95!

I have a small pile of playing cards, kids card games (Old Maids, etc) and a couple of cribbage boards to give away. There’s nothing really exciting here, but I thought maybe someone could use them; otherwise, I’ll just throw them out.
Condition: Some of the packages are unopened, others have been opened but appear to be in good shape,
Price: Free.
