This is a fabulous classic midcentury modern style hanging light fixture made from layers of wrapped clear plastic. It comes with chain and mount to hang from ceiling.
The light fixture came out of an amazing home in Westwood, Massachusetts that was filled with loads of quality and very cool art, furnishings and other items.
The photos aren’t the best as I haven’t had a chance to take my own (not that those are usually the greatest, either!). These came off the auction website.
Dimensions: Measures 16” W x 16” D x 14.5” H. Drop height including mount is 15”. Mount diameter is 5”.

I don’t know anything about this system. I bought it at auction through my business, planning to set it up at home… but I just don’t have room for it, and I’m not home that much anyway. (My late husband was a classically trained musician and he would have been able to tell you everything about it.)
The auction company I got it from is one I worked for a few years ago, and since I know them, I’m confident that this system works as it’s supposed to.
Other than that, all I know is what’s in the photos and the list below.
2 Small Panasonic Thruster speakers 22 inches tall x 12.5 inches wide x 8 inches deep (These are listed on eBay as “vintage” and for sale for anywhere from $50-$100) 2 Boston Acoustic A1000 Large Speakers 33 inches tall x 8 3/4 deep x 16 inches wide (I didn’t find these on eBay, but others by Boston Acoustics were in the $200 range) Harman Kardon TD212 tape deck (Again, I didn’t find this on eBay, but similar ones by the same company seem to go for $50-100… the technical manual for this tape deck is for sale for $11.00.) Harman Kardon hk385 amplifier (I found one for sale on eBay for $70.00) Sony disc player (It looks like this could be worth around $100.)
Price: It seems the total value of this stereo system is around $470-$570 (on eBay, anyway), and then of course, there’s shipping.
I really don’t want to piece this out, as I’d like to just get it out of my house where it’s taking up space sitting in my living room. So here’s the deal:
Come and get the whole system and you can have it for $250.00.
Pieced out, the prices are:
2 Small Panasonic Thruster speakers – $40.00 2 Boston Acoustic A1000 Large Speakers – $140.00 Harman Kardon TD212 tape deck – $40.00 Harman Kardon hk385 amplifier – $50.00 Sony disc player – $40.00
Condition: Unknown. As mentioned above, it came from a reputable estate sale/auction company, directly out of a nice home in Brunswick.

This is an amazing vintage/antique bronze statue of the Hindu Goddess Durga. She is seated on a tiger and has 8 arms, seven of which hold a weapon. The palm of the eighth arm is near her chest, facing outward.
According to IndianExpress.com, “Another name for Durga is Durgatinashini which means ‘the one who eliminates suffering’. Her name thus indicates her role as the one who protects her devotees and removes evil from the world.”
The piece is very heavy for its size although I don’t know its weight. My smaller scale only goes to 4 pounds, and my larger one medical scale doesn’t register its weight.
Pricing: $125.00 plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax.
Condition: The piece is in excellent condition with some of the greenish patina caused by oxidation and expected of a bronze piece with some age to it.
Dimensions: 12.0 inches long x 6.0 inches wide and 12.0 inches tall

Arianrhod, the Celtic/Welsh Goddess of rebirth or reincarnation, goes by many other names, such as the Moon Goddess, the Star Goddess and the Sky Goddess. She is a primal figure of feminine power, a Mother Goddess who rules fertility and childbirth.
Here, she is presented as a statue including the Cosmic Wheel of the year and of time. The wheel, according to one source, “may also refer to the oar wheel upon which she carried the dead back to her heavenly northern land the Corona Borealis. Here according to some Welsh traditions the dead souls waited for the Goddess and her female attendants to decide their fate before being reincarnated”.
Arianrhod is an important Mother figure in Celtic/Welsh mythology.

Condition: Good condition with some blemishes as pictured.
Dimensions: 13″ high.

Years ago, my family and I visited The David, one of several originals created by Michelangelo, while in Florence. It was a magnificent – in fact, the entire time spent in Italy was awe-inspiring. So finding these at an auction was wicked exciting!
David.
Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, who is best known simply as Michelangelo, is believed by some to be the greatest artist to have ever lived. This reproduction “David” by Universal Statuary Corp, dated 1969 on the reverse of the small platform, gives a clue why.
The vintage 42″ reproduction statue known as David which we present here is in near perfect condition, although – in keeping with the political/cultural bias of the late 60s/early 70s, it has the addition of a modesty leaf to cover the figure’s more personal area.
Roman or Greek Goddess. This is a vintage Roman/Greek goddess statue from Universal Statuary, and is probably dated around 1967 or 1969. She is larger than David (above) by about 2 inches, and is also in excellent condition with nothing broken or missing.
Pricing:
David: $475.00, plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax for Maine residents, of course. Goddess: $425.00, plus the same 5.5% sales tax for Maine residents. Save 20% and purchase both for just $720.00!
Condition: Both are in excellent – near perfect – condition. There are a couple of marks on the back of the Goddess, that don’t come off with a quick attempt at wiping them. It looks like the statue may have rubbed up against something on what appear to be two different occasions (?).
Dimensions: David: About 42″ in height. Goddess: About 44″ in height. I’m not sure of the weight, and would have to bring a medical balance scale to the office (which I do have at home) if you were to request that information. They are a resin-type, not concrete, so aren’t hugely heavy.
Shipping & Delivery: Please see the tabs above. Frankly, I’d rather personally deliver either or both statues to your home or office, rather than take a chance on a shipping company, but this could definitely be a more expensive option, depending on your location.
Based on previous shipments we’ve done, I would expect these to cost around $100 each to ship due to size and weight. Given our personal delivery cost of $.99 per mile round trip, that means if you were to purchase both, and live within 100 miles of our office, having us deliver would be about breakeven with the costs of using a shipping company.
Alternatively, you are certainly welcome to make an appointment to pick up the statues yourself!
