UPDATED: I didn’t notice that this cabinet is a bit wobbly, until it was leaned on a bit. Although it seems structurally sound, there is a wobble.  Someone inquiring asked how much of a wobble, and I had to tell him it’s purely a matter of perspective.  It depends on what your level of acceptability for such things is.  This is one of those inexpensive pieces from the mid century.  I doubt it was ever intended to be the sturdiest piece of furniture out there… remember, MCM furniture was a reaction to the heavier, more ornate pieces of previous decades.  However, rather than disappoint my customers, I’ve reduced the price on this piece.  See below.

If you’re looking for another piece to add to your Mid Century Modern ambience, here’s a great little record cabinet.  It’s a classic style MCM cabinet, with the dividers to keep your albums organized.

Condition:  It’s in pretty good shape, especially considering the lightweight materials so many of these MCM pieces were made of.  The doors slide well (although they pop out rather easily like every other MCM cabinet I’ve seen), the legs are in good shape and the top only has a couple of dings.  There is some kind of damage on the inside right hand corner that I haven’t examined so am not sure what that’s all about.
