Cigar boxes – and cigars, themselves – are not my bailiwick.  They were my late husband’s area of expertise.  Unfortunately, he left me no notes on these, so I only have my own research skills to use when offering them.

There are two boxes.  The King Edward box lists the price of the cigars as 6c on the inside of the lid; most of the boxes I’ve found have them at 8c or so, which indicates this is an earlier box than many available.

The Yankee box lists the cigars at 2 for 15c, which is typical of those I’ve found on-line.

Condition: Both boxes, while structurally in good shape, have cosmetic damage as shown in the photos.

Dimensions:   Not measured.  Standard vintage cigar box size.

FIRM Price:  $20.00 for both.  Plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax of $2.20, for a total of $22.20.
