I bought this puppet for my daughter close to two decades ago.  It was an antique then, and hasn’t changed at all in the intervening years, because my daughter wanted nothing to do with her.  She ended up getting named “Creepy Doll”, and was put in storage.  (I actually hesitate to call her that, for fear she’ll put a curse on me.  I’m only half joking!)

A few years ago when we had our bricks and mortar shop, a customer came in looking for similar items.  He was very interested in “Creepy Doll” if I could ever find her, but I didn’t until recently.  And here she is!

My fantasy is that she was part of a roving caravan of Romas (gypsies) and somehow got separated from her people.   Ummmm.  Like her head got separated from her body.  (See photos.)

Condition:  She is old and battered.  But she still has a great deal of spirit.

Dimensions:  She’s 22 inches long.

FIRM Price:  $35.00. There is no sales tax on this if purchased directly through me.  If you buy it from our display case at Cabot Mill Antiques, they do have to charge sales tax, which would be $1.93.

Shipping & Delivery: Because this item is on display 20 miles from us, I may not even know for several days (usually over a weekend) whether or not an item is still available, but if it is, I can bring it back to Lewiston for you the next time I’m in Brunswick updating our display. At that point, you’d be able to take advantage of local pick up at my office (by appointment only), or I can get it delivered to you per the next paragraph.

We can deliver within Lewiston-Auburn most days, or along the Lewiston-Lisbon-Topsham-Brunswick route (dates vary), for a $10.00 delivery fee, or Gray/Portland (along the 202 Route, or just off it) early Wednesday mornings for the same $10.00.

Shipping is $12.00.
