
Here’s a nice old bentwood rocking chair that’s still fairly sturdy, but has some dings and damage. See below.
Condition: Fair to Good. As the photos show, it has a crack in one arm that seems to start from the bottom screws holding it in place, and which makes that arm wobbly because it needs tightening. I suspect some wood glue and a clamp for a day would take care of that problem.
Also there’s a very small area in the webbing on the back of the chair that has broken. I’d just use clear nail polish to prevent it from getting worse, but perhaps you have a much better idea!
The price reflects my thought that I’d rather have someone take this rocker and get some use out of it, than eventually just being stuck taking it to the dump. That would be a tragedy because the rocker is lovely and has plenty of use left in it.
Dimensions: I haven’t measured it yet, but it’s fairly large.
