SOLD! Glossy Black 9 Drawer Sheet Music Cabinet

This is a very nice glossy black wooden 9 drawer sheet music cabinet in excellent shape!

Condition:   Excellent.

Dimensions: About 32″H x  16″W x 14″D.  The cabinet weighs about 52 pounds.

Price:  $75.00.  (Plus the usual 5.5% Maine State Sales tax, of course.)

All sales, after expenses, go to support The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention drop-in center that is very slowly in development.   We cannot make this a reality without your support by purchasing our products.

NOTE:  Our 14,000 books, plus maps, sheet music and art are now stored in my home, and I’m slowly getting them on-line and will soon be putting them on Amazon.  It would be great if you would purchase these items directly from me before they end up on Amazon… purchases directly from the actual owner (like me) have more impact on small businesses than when they’re sold through a giant corporation.

Our other inventory – vintage, antique and other items – can be found either at the Undercover Antique Mall in Oxford (we are booth number 56) or by arranging personal pick up in the Lewiston-Auburn area, and occasionally in Portland.

Explanation:  Much of our inventory has been in storage at our home for the past couple of years because of my husband’s tragic death, after which I found it exceedingly difficult to concentrate on this business, eventually closing our physical location.

I’m just now (fall of 2019) getting back into the business with any regularity.  So you may see items on here that seem familiar; I’m now digging them back out to sell, partly because we both loved our antiques shop, and partly because I’d like to reclaim my home as livable space, not the hoarder’s paradise it has felt like!

However, I’m also once again beginning to purchase new inventory when time allows… I’ve always loved auctions!

Thank you to everyone who has supported Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps since August of 2014!

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who regarded the feel of real books in his hands as one of life’s greatest joys.  History was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a great deal about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly come to find me, so he could read aloud passages that we would then discuss with the wonder of kids with a new toy.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.

Help support The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention and grief support organization by making purchases from Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps.  All profits (after expenses) go to helping us help others.  I’m also a trained volunteer for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

(Please Note: The Grief Warrior Project is in no way intended to be reflective of, or piggy back off, Wounded Warriors which serves those military personnel wounded after September 11, 2001.  Like too many others, John was a warrior long before then.)

I would like to purchase the glossy black 9 drawer sheet music cabinet for $75 plus tax. However, I need to know what the shipping would be to Mountain Home, AR. Can you please let me know. Thank you.

    • lindasnyder says:

I can check into the shipping price for you but suspect it will be even more than the cost of the cabinet. The item is quite heavy.

      • Pam Quanrud says:

Did you sell this cabinet yet? I would be interested in purchasing it, and could probably pick it up from you directly.

      • lindasnyder says:

        Hi Pam,

Yes, we still have this piece. And it is very nice!

My schedule is pretty tight but I can arrange to meet you at the shop most mornings or on Saturday. (I’ll be leaving for Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 4 to visit my daughter and her family; I won’t be back until the end of the month.)

        Thanks for your interest!

      • lindasnyder says:

        Hi Pam,
Were you still interested in the black music cabinet?

  2. Virginia DiBianco says:

Is this cabinet still available? I ‘live in east/central Illinois.

    • lindasnyder says:

      Good morning,

It is still available, but I suspect it will cost as much for shipping and handling from Maine as the cabinet itself costs.

Probably not a good deal for you.

  3. Craig Bosma says:

Hi, I’d be interested despite the shipping costs if it’s still available.

    • lindasnyder says:

It is available; I put it in storage once I closed the bricks & mortar shop. I do suspect it would cost about $75 to ship in addition to the $75 cost of the cabinet. Where are you located? That makes a difference in shipping costs.

The best email is, or you can text me at 207.740.2247.

I have another business (per my email) that has me on the run, and Mondays & Tuesdays are my busiest days. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get to the shipping company I use to find out the exact weight and cost.

But I will need your address for that, which you can text or email me.

  5. Dan Shryock says:

    Is this still available?
