I love this mid century modern footed Lane cedar chest with two drawers (left hand side)… I’ve never seen one quite like it before. It comes complete with the original key and certificate of authenticity.
Note: The drawers are not cedar.
Scroll down for more pictures.
Condition: Very good. It was well taken care of by its previous owner, but does have some dings as shown in the picture.
Dimensions: Coming soon. Approximately 4 feet wide by 2.5 feet high by 18″ deep.
Price: $65.00. (It was $135.00, but a leg that was damaged was broken off by a contractor who apparently decided to shove the chest across the floor.) Plus the usual 5.5% State of Maine Sales Tax.
WOW! Right now the chest is in storage at 5 Park Street in Lewiston. We will be moving it out of storage no later than March 20th. If you purchase it before that date, we will knock another $20 off the price, bringing it down to $45… which is 1/3 of what we had it for originally.
NOTE: Now that we’ve downsized at our main location, our new entrance is at the back of the building (use the rear entrance in back of 189 Main Street, off the Park Street side). You’ll see some signs in the windows saying “Heritage Collectibles”, “Retail Shop” and “Welcome”, as well as our “Open” flag!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us for the past three years!

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.
He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.
He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.

All of the profits after expenses from Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps will go to help fund The (Grief) Warrior Project, a suicide prevention drop-in and counseling center in the process of being developed.
