SOLD! Glossy Black 9 Drawer Sheet Music Cabinet

This is a very nice glossy black wooden 9 drawer sheet music cabinet in excellent shape!

Condition:   Excellent.

Dimensions: About 32″H x  16″W x 14″D.  The cabinet weighs about 52 pounds.

Price:  $75.00.  (Plus the usual 5.5% Maine State Sales tax, of course.)

All sales, after expenses, go to support The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention drop-in center that is very slowly in development.   We cannot make this a reality without your support by purchasing our products.

****************************

NOTE:  Our 14,000 books, plus maps, sheet music and art are now stored in my home, and I’m slowly getting them on-line and will soon be putting them on Amazon.  It would be great if you would purchase these items directly from me before they end up on Amazon… purchases directly from the actual owner (like me) have more impact on small businesses than when they’re sold through a giant corporation.

Our other inventory – vintage, antique and other items – can be found either at the Undercover Antique Mall in Oxford (we are booth number 56) or by arranging personal pick up in the Lewiston-Auburn area, and occasionally in Portland.

Explanation:  Much of our inventory has been in storage at our home for the past couple of years because of my husband’s tragic death, after which I found it exceedingly difficult to concentrate on this business, eventually closing our physical location.

I’m just now (fall of 2019) getting back into the business with any regularity.  So you may see items on here that seem familiar; I’m now digging them back out to sell, partly because we both loved our antiques shop, and partly because I’d like to reclaim my home as livable space, not the hoarder’s paradise it has felt like!

However, I’m also once again beginning to purchase new inventory when time allows… I’ve always loved auctions!

Thank you to everyone who has supported Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps since August of 2014!

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who regarded the feel of real books in his hands as one of life’s greatest joys.  History was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a great deal about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly come to find me, so he could read aloud passages that we would then discuss with the wonder of kids with a new toy.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.

Follow our blog at https://warrior-project.org, in honor of my husband, and all others who have been lost to internal demons that in the end, overwhelmed them.

Help support The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention and grief support organization by making purchases from Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps.  All profits (after expenses) go to helping us help others.  I’m also a trained volunteer for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

GONE! It’s Free Stuff So Come and Get It!

CURB ALERT!

Update!  I’m moving the freebies to the alley behind the building, off Park Street (right after Papa’s Thrift Store).  It’s the very first driveway at the end of the building.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE ALLEY.  That is my landlord’s parking area, and he’s been really good to us.

ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A MESS.  I’m putting some extra boxes out there so people can carry what you need, and keep the place clean.  If it’s left a mess, I will not be allowed to continue giving away free stuff, which I’ve been doing for the more than two years that Heritage Collectibles has been in business.

Thank you for understanding.
Linda

I’m slowly putting freebies out on the curb in front of Heritage Collectibles, as I’m cleaning out some of the many, many boxes of STUFF we have.

A few things have already been taken. Here are some pictures of what’s presently out there, with much more to come over the next few days.

Right now there’s a small outdoor grill, and a bunch of glassware, candle holders and knick knacks, as well as a big umbrella.  Nothing particularly special, but the stuff may be good for someone.

I’ll add photos as I get more items outside.
