This clock is not vintage but it has that look look to it. It definitely would fit in well with a farmhouse or country theme.

This is one of those items that I almost hope never sells; she’s just beautiful! I’m not sure what kind of flower or herb I’d put in this planter… it wouldn’t seem right to cover the lovely details!

This is a nice little 2-3 seater bench. Line up the grandkids for photo ops, or use it as a great garden planter – half a dozen bright red geraniums would look just great on this, after you position it among your shrubs!
The bench had apparently been outside, or left in a barn for a while as it needed some elbow grease to clean up. (It could use a little more scrubbing!)
The dog in the photo is not part of the deal. At least, not at the moment, although there have definitely been times when I’ve almost considered it!
Condition: Very good, although there is a damaged area on the seat, as you can see in the photos. The knot holes are bleeding through the paint job, although that’s not unusual with an older piece like this. However, overall it is quite sturdy.

We just love the muted colors and mildly ornate style of this French Provincial arm chair!
Condition: Very good to excellent. Other than a few very minor dings in the wood of the arms and legs, the only issue is the unfortunate small frayed spot on the seat of the chair. We found the chair quite comfortable, and think it’s lovely. The plastic floor guards on each leg are all intact.

Condition: Excellent. She’s made of resin, not concrete, so she’s both reasonably lightweight and also in very good shape. There are just a couple of very minor chips, as well as the staining from garden dirt from being outside. She is just lovely.

We bought this because we wanted just a couple of other pieces that came with the set… and now we have extra furniture we don’t need! (If it’s not sold on Saturday, January 23, it’ll have to go in storage.)

Anyone who follows our website knows that we’ve been bringing in a lot of inventory lately, and while it’s been selling, we have more to come. So we need the room! Therefore, this set has to go soon, or I’m sticking it so far back in storage it may never see the light of day again. For that reason, and for a short time, this set is on sale for HALF PRICE! That’s a major savings, especially if you see what this set is selling for on eBay. (The last time I looked, it was $1,795!)
So here’s an amazing retro mid century set with that 60s look and feel… just check out this whiskey barrel table with 4 swivel chairs by Brothers Furniture of Kentucky. As near as we can tell, there are very few such sets available.
Condition: We haven’t yet seen the set in person, and are relying on the descriptions and photos provided by the company contracted to manage the estate sale, a company we know and trust.
The chairs and table are said to be very sturdy and in overall good used condition, although you’ll note there are a couple of small tears in the Naugahyde upholstery, as seen in the photos.
Actually, most of the (very few) pieces we found in an internet search appear to have some damage. It would be extraordinarily surprising if vintage furniture of this type and age (1960s-1970s) was in mint condition.

This is a fantastic vintage Whiskey Barrel bar and stool set by Brothers Furniture of Kentucky. Some internet research on a couple of occasions found no other set as complete as this one, with the bar (a whiskey barrel that’s been cut apart to make “wings” that hold a laminate bar top, along with storage space for liquor and bar needs), 3 stools (created from smaller barrels that have been cut down), a bar lamp and 4 pictures… the closest I found was the same bar with two stools for $2,495.00. I would have to say that for $1,750.00, ours seems like a very good deal!
We are told the swivel stools are comfortable and stable and the set is in good condition. The diamond, argyle-like pattern of the Naugahyde upholstery (the pattern is repeated in the 4 pictures to hang behind the bar), adds even more to the fun and funky retro lounge feel. This is not a set for people who have a more formal lifestyle.
We found the following description from Brothers Furniture in an ad circa 1975, which said: Formal and fussy furnishings are fine for company…but for the kids and dad to really relax…well, you need something like this from BROTHERS of Kentucky. Built for fun, built for comfort, built to last! Don’t wonder where the kids are…they’ll be having fun at home. Don’t hesitate. You need to make this marvelous barrel bar and barstools yours.

These are very good quality nesting gift boxes… not that flimsy stuff you see too often. Each has a white lace ribbon as decoration.
There are 4 sets of 5 successively smaller boxes. The set of four (with the next to largest size is missing) has sold.
How fun it would be to put a small gift in the littlest box, and watch your Valentine open them all to get to that final one!

A quick glance at this, and it seems like a bookcase, right? But that’s a false front and those are not real books. When you open the door, voila! One has a storage cabinet that holds about 140-150 CDs! (Or snacks. It might be a great place to hide your snacks from the kids.)
Condition: Very good. The crevices in the front need some dusting and polishing with a toothbrush to get into the crevices; one area does appear to have had the paint scraped off a bit, but it also seems to fit in with the overall “old bookcase” look.
Dimensions: Here’s another item the dimensions of which I’ve misplaced… sheesh. I think it’s about 24″ high x 6″ deep x 14″ wide, but that’s an estimate from several miles away. I’ll update soon.
