SOLD. 5 Foot Print of White Birch Trees in Nice Frame

White birch was my mom’s favorite tree. Although she died over 50 years ago (when my sister and I were very little), I’ve always remembered this, and have collected quite a bit of birch bark, as well as birch sticks and birch paintings over the years.

This print stood out at an auction I was at recently – mostly because it’s quite large. Perhaps it will strike you in a similar fashion!

Condition: Both the print and the frame are in very good condition.

Dimensions: 37.5″ wide by 60″ high.

Once upon a time this was a lovely little stand. Take a look at the scalloped, beveled edges!

But, sometimes neglect happens, and apparently that’s the case here. So this lovely little stand that’s just waiting for a new home ended up in our salvage/project closet. If you have the skill or talent, this is a great little recycle, upcycle, repurpose project!

Condition: Structurally, it’s in great condition. Once cleaned up – and probably repainted – it will be a great little stand But right now it’s definitely a project stand.

SOLD! Glossy, Beautiful – and Heavy – Oak Desk from the American Company “Winners Only”

Winners Only products are well made – and expensive. Once you see this desk, you’ll know why. It’s just gorgeous. Luckily, you can buy it from us for far less than it would cost to purchase new.

There’s a tray drawer that’s super clean inside (in fact, all of the drawers are). There are three drawers on the right hand side. The bottom file drawer does lock, but unfortunately the key is missing. That’s the only problem I can find with this desk. It has a modesty panel as well.

Condition: Excellent, like new condition.

Dimensions: 36″ wide by 22.5″ deep x 29″ high

I got in from an auction at 6:30 last night, unloaded a fully packed U-Haul cargo van into the hallway outside my office, rushed to return the van by 7:00 last night, ran home, fed the dogs then headed back to get some photos and stacked as much of the furniture as I could into my waiting room.

Home by 9:00. Up at 4:30 this morning and heading out soon to spend over 500 miles on the road today, delivering inventory to customers and picking up more along the way.

So it will be tomorrow before I can start posting these items – although I do have to put in a full day working at my primary business. (Heritage Collectibles is only supposed to be a part-time gig. HA!)

Anyway, if there’s a piece you want to see up before the others, let me know!

Condition: Most items are in very good to excellent used condition.

SOLD! Inexpensive, Previously Owned Bird Cages – Several Shapes and Sizes!

We recently picked up 5 birdcages (3 small and 2 larger ones). And we already had a small vintage cage that’s been in storage for a bit. I posted a couple of them but didn’t really do much to get them sold – and now – since they are taking up far too much room for their value to us – I’m pricing them at a cost I hope is too good to pass up! (I have quite a bit of furniture coming in, and need the space!)

Other than the vintage cage (which is the smallest) they all came from the same home, and appear to have been reasonably well taken care of.

If you don’t have birds, you may want to consider using one or more of them for decoration or a magical ambiance… I have a 5 1/2 foot cage in the waiting room at work – it’s been decorated with twinkle lights, crystals and has a spider plant growing inside… I love it!

Expand your birds’ environment, get more birds, or let your artsy side shine with twinkle lights and plants. Just think of what you can do!

Condition: Mostly quite good although I did notice some rust on a couple of them. The pan on the bottom left has a large crack/break. The vintage Hendrix cage has a broken latch.

SOLD! Glass and Wood 4 Stack Barrister Bookcase

This is a great 4-shelf oak barrister bookcase that I found at an auction in New Hampshire recently. Like the one we sold a while back, it’s a combination of wood and manufactured wood, but is very nice – and at far less than what you’d pay for a century old, solid wood piece. (I recently passed up three of those at another New Hampshire auction. Not only were they expensive, but they weren’t in nearly as good condition as this one is.)

It’s all one large piece. The glass fronts for each shelf roll back readily the way they’re supposed to.

The plus to this barrister bookcase compared with the last one we had is that there are actually 8 shelves, rather than just the four it appears to have. Inside each section, is a glass shelf for smaller items. I unfortunately can’t show those shelves right now because when I picked up the bookcase, I took those shelves out for safe keeping – and left them behind! The auction house where I purchased this from is a 2.5 hour drive away (5 hours round trip!) so I won’t be able to pick them up until the next time I go to Bristol, which will probably be in March sometime.

I tried researching these to see what a comparable price would be. Every one I found was far more expensive than this.

Condition: It’s in excellent condition as the photos show.

Dimensions: 61″ tall x 28″ wide x 12″ deep.

SOLD! Ceramic Pouncing Leopard Lamp – 1950s Era

This is a very colorful lamp depicting a pouncing leopard. I almost think it was made by someone taking a ceramics class rather than commercially produced, because of the combination of colors, but then again, research shows several variations of a pouncing leopard/panther (in varying colors), dating back to the ’40s and ’50s. So, your guess as to its source would be as good as mine, I suppose.

Condition: He is in perfect condition except for a chip on the end of his nose, which unfortunately happened while I was transporting him back to my office. (I obviously didn’t pack him as well as I thought.) There was no lampshade along with this piece, I just took one off another lamp for the photos.

Dimensions: The lamp is 18″ high to the top of the lightbulb. The base is 5 1/2″ but the leopard itself extends about 3 inches beyond that. The depth is about 6 inches.
