Stunning Silver & Mirror Side Table with Matching Lamp

Once upon a time when I was house-hunting, I looked at a brand new one that was done all in chrome and white. It was stunningly beautiful, but not my style, and I’m very happy with the house I eventually purchased.

This silver & white lamp with matching end table / stand with mirrored surface would have fit perfectly in that house.

The set is modern with clean lines that balance both angles and circles. Wonderful! (As the photos show, it was hard to get a picture of the top of the stand, as the mirror did too good a job in reflecting the ceiling!)

Condition:   Both pieces are like new. 

Dimensions:   The lamp is about two feet high to the top of the shade; the finial adds another two inches to its height.  It’s about 11″ wide.   The stand is about 20″ high and a foot wide and deep. 

FIRM Price:  $94.00 for both pieces, plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax of $4.17 for a total of $99.17.  The lamp alone is $65.00, and the table is $45.00.

SOLD. Wonderful Rocking Chair with Green Man Type Faces Carved In the Top of the Arms – From Our Lawn & Garden Shop

So those who follow this website and my blogs know that I just love chairs. Especially super cool chairs like this rocker.

Take a look at the faces carved into the top of the arms on either side of the chair. WOW! Love them!

It’s just an overall groovy rocker that is perfect for sitting in when out on the porch or in the garden with your morning beverage.

The seat is removable, although the cushion is attached to it (photos below illustrate). The cushion itself has an almost tapestry type design to it.

Condition:   It’s in very good condition, albeit with a few dings here and there.  I find it quite comfortable.  

Dimensions:   It’s about 3′ high to the top of the back.  It’s about 20″ wide at the back, but slightly more at the front (about 21″).  From the floor to the top of the seat cushion, it’s about 19″ high.  From the front of the rockers to the back tip of the rockers is about 30″; if the rockers aren’t included, the chair is about 24″ deep.  

The carved faces are 6″ long by 1 1/2″ wide.

SOLD. Man Cave or She Shed Sign: Beers Around the World

Just your basic “Beers Around the World” sign!

Condition:   It’s in quite good shape except for the scrape across the bottom, which probably isn’t noticeable once on the wall (as long as it’s not placed too high up).  If it is noticeable, some of that furniture “ding” concealer should take care of it.  The final photo below shows the scrape.

Dimensions:   About 22″ high by 15 1/5 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch deep.

SOLD! Lovely Metal Floor Tole Lamp in Sage Green with Ribbon-Like Decor

Such a lovely lamp! And it’s in great shape.

The light bulb inside is encased in a glass globe that’s very pretty and which the metal lampshade sits on.

Condition:   Other than a minor ding on the shade, this lamp is in near perfect condition with one small exception; of the three tiny screws that are supposed to hold the globe in place, two are missing.  It’s an easy fix but should be mentioned.

Dimensions:   Overall, it’s about 4 feet high.  The shade is about 14″ in diameter and the base is about 11 1/2″ in diameter.

Beautiful Vintage/Antique Side Table/Stand with Humidor

Unlike some smoking stands that are very clearly designed for just that purpose – down to the notches for pipes and a big old hole in which to place a big old ashtray – this looks far more like a classic side table. It’s only when you open the door and note the copper lining inside that the true purpose stands out.

It’s a lovely piece, and other bidders at the auction where I got it, knew this as well.

What a great gift for that special someone!

Condition:   As shown in the photos and the description above.  Structurally it’s sound and very sturdy.  Due to its age, there are some blemishes and minor scratches in the wood and the paint.   As you can also see, it’s a bit dusty and could use some furniture polish.

Dimensions:   15″ wide x 1 1/2″deep x 29″ high..  The bottom shelf is about 5″ off the floor, and the lined cupboard inside is about 7″ high.

SOLD! Two Sweet Little Braided Style Rugs in Light Pastels

These two little braided type rugs are super cute – and super soft!  Perfect to land your feet on when getting out of bed in the morning!

Dimensions:  18″ wide x 27″ long

Condition:  They’re in very good condition.  One has three strips of duct tape on the back that probably was put there to keep the rug from moving across the floor.  There’s a bit of fraying where it seems someone probably changed her mind and wanted to remove the duct tape… but that’s not happening. It’s on there for the duration.

SOLD! Two Gas Cans (Plastic) – From Our Tool Shed

Okay, so I don’t know anything about gas cans.  I bought a new one last fall for the lawn mower and it cost me plenty.  I think it’s a lot fancier than these two… who knows.  It’s in the garage on a shelf somewhere.

Anyway, I ended up with these two gas cans from an auction, and really don’t need them – after all, I bought the super duper one.  So please come and get these.

Dimensions:  I have no idea how much they can hold.  It looks like the small one might hold a couple of gallons.  The bigger one holds more than the smaller one.  (Yes, I did indeed just say that.)

Condition:  They seem fine.  No noted holes or damage.

Each nail bin has 9 small drawers and one large one at the bottom.  Most of the drawers have a goodly amount of nails or screws in them.  And no, I will not count them for anyone!  🙂

They each have a handle for ease of carrying.

Book: Twilight – The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion

Okay, so I have to admit I know nothing about this show.  (Shocking, right?)

But we have this oversized softcover (trade paperback) book that’s loaded with photos for those who are fans.

Condition:  Very good.

FIRM Price:  $5.00. Plus 5.5% Maine State Sales Tax of .28, for a total of $5.28.

Unless we’re having a sale, which would be listed here, our prices are firm.

Our Apologies, But Holds Over 24 Hours Must Now Provide a 50% Deposit: As we’ve gotten busier, I’m spending a great deal of time juggling multiple requests for the same item.  Most of the time, something comes up in the customer’s life that prevents him or her from getting here, but sometimes I never do hear from them again. And in the meantime, other customers who are asking about the item end up moving on when the chair or art or garden statue or whatever isn’t immediately available.  So without a deposit, I’ll now have to implement a First Come, First Served policy. 

Shipping & Delivery:  Free local pickup. We can deliver within Lewiston-Auburn for a $10.00 delivery fee, or Gray/Portland (along the 202 Route, or just off it) early Wednesday mornings for the same $10.00.  Shipping is via media mail for S3.99.
