Vintage step stools identical to this are listed for considerably more than our price on both Amazon and eBay.

Condition: Very good. It is extremely solid with no tears or wear in the rubber matting.

Dimensions: 10 1/2 inches high by 12 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches deep

Notes: Used, Vintage. May have flaws & blemishes typical of vintage used items.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who was passionate about the feel of real books in his hands… history was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a lot about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly read aloud passages to me, so we could discuss the ideas contained therein.

So here’s the description:

This is perhaps the nicest one I’ve ever seen (!). What a great conversation piece with a philodendron curling out of it!

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or other problems noted.

Dimensions: About 11″ wide x 20″ long (inc urinal spout) x 3: high

Notes: Vintage with few to no flaws or blemishes noted.

So here’s the description:

Someone made this little bench with love. The top appears to be a child’s profile with winter hat (? perhaps you’ll see something else in it?); underneath it says “El Cid”, a reference to a Spanish hero of centuries past.

Please note the rustic features, including the knotholes.

It’s quite narrow – only 7.5″ wide – so will fit in a smaller space.

Dimensions: 30 1/2 inches long by 7 1/2 inches deep by 18 inches high

So here’s the description:

Although the styles don’t match, the colors do, and they’re made by the same company.

Condition: The round casserole appears to be in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing (crackle) noted. The oval one does have some interior crazing and a hairline crack across the center.

Dimensions: The round casserole is 8 1/2 inches in diameter with an interior of 7 1/4 inches in diameter and is about 3 inches high. The oval casserole is about 2 3/4 inches high, and 7 3/4 inches wide by 10 1/4 inches long. Those dimensions are excluding the handles on both.

So here’s the description:

This is a nice little pine microwave stand in overall good condition.

There are just a few minor things to note: The back panel is lifting slightly at the top left corner. The drawer has some kind of semi-plastic shelf liner that could be removed. There are also some minor dings here and there,

Dimensions: 16 inches deep by 22 1/4 inches wide by 32 1/2 inches high it is 19 inches to the shelf, which is about 8 3/4 inches high

Notes: Good condition with expected blemishes given its age and likely use.

This is a nice lot of 8 vintage folding wood chairs. Five are identical and apparently came out of a now defunct organization. Two of the remaining chairs are the same, with the final one different from all the rest.

Oxford. Our more contemporary inventory is located at Happy Trails Antiques & Flea Market at 891 Main Street, Oxford (ME). Their phone is 207-515-0927. Happy Trails is open Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 9:00-5:00, and Sundays from 10:00-4:00. Our booth number is S75.  Until recently, we had 3 booths at Happy Trails but downsized because of time limitations. 

Waterville.  You’ll find our vintage and antique inventory at Hathaway Mill Antiques, 10 Water Street, Waterville (ME). Their phone is 207-877-0250. Hathaway Mill Antiques is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are booth #23 (or HCB).

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.  Johnny was an avid reader, who was passionate about the feel of real books in his hands… history was his forte, but in true Renaissance Man fashion, John knew a lot about a great many subjects.  He would often be so fascinated by a book he was reading that he would excitedly read aloud passages to me, so we could discuss the ideas contained therein.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.

All of the profits after expenses from Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps will go to help fund The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention drop-in and counseling center in the process of being developed, although it has been in hiatus during the pandemic.  I’m hoping to begin working on this again during the spring of 2023.

So here’s the description:

This is a wonderful antique desk with lots of detail in pale pink.

Dimensions: It’s about 5’3″ high x 12″ deep x 30″ wide. The mirror is about 12 1/2″ wide x 7″ high. When the desk surface comes down, it’s about 26″ deep.

Condition: This piece could use some attention due to its age and use, but overall seems in good condition.
