Very pretty pedestal style bowl. Perfect for a Thanksgiving table – or any festive occasion!

Condition: Excellent.

Dimensions: 5 inches high by about 2 inches deep by 8 inches in diameter, excluding the handles, which add an inch on either side for a total of 10 inches in diameter.

Vintage/Antique “Balanced Recipes” Cookbook In Metal Case

This was a first for me; I’ve never seen a cookbook in a metal case before but wow! This is surprisingly nice!

Condition: Excellent. There are no dents or issues with the metal container. There is some discoloration of the paper cookbook pages due to age, but otherwise it seems to be in great shape!

Dimensions: The metal cookbook holder is 9 inches high by 6 1/4 inches wide by an inch and a half thick.

Price: $24.00.

Antique Humidifier – Attached To Those Old Radiators!

Just stick this metal “humidifier”in between the sections of your old radiator, add water, and voila! Dry air begone!

Condition: Very good. The original Fulton brand tag is still attached.

Dimensions: The furnace humidifier is 18 inches long; it is 4 1/2 inches high and is 6 1/2 inches wide at the end cup holding water.

Ornate Little Vintage Metal Box In Deep Red Hues

What a lovely little find in a cellar filled with tools and art supplies!

Condition: Good. There is minor rust on the top but somehow it doesn’t detract from the overall quality of the piece.

Dimensions: overall about 6 3/4 inches wide (has a lip around the bottom) but the box itself is 6 1/4 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches deep by 3 inches high.

Price: $16.00.

Tools & Garden Supplies at Our Second Booth at Happy Trails Flea Market & Antiques in Oxford (ME)

It was tough getting a good photo of the entire booth – other booths blocked my camera. But this photo and the ones below will give you a sense of what we have… everything from apple baskets to old axes, pickaxes and pitchforks, a small bird bath and a seed spreader, wooden shutters, a wood step ladder, and more!

Our booth locations:

Oxford. Our more contemporary inventory is located at Happy Trails Antiques & Flea Market at 891 Main Street, Oxford (ME). Their phone is 207-515-0927. Happy Trails is open Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 9:00-5:00, and Sundays from 10:00-4:00. Our booth number (both booths) is S75, although one says S81 on the booth wall.

Waterville.  Hathaway Mill Antiques is located at 10 Water Street, Waterville (ME). Their phone is 207-877-0250. Hathaway Mill Antiques is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are booth #23 (or HCB).

Here’s a quick look at some of the items in our small booth at Happy Trails Flea Market and Antiques in Oxford, Maine.

It needs work… I was in a time crunch (as usual!) but you can see a nice, eclectic mix of antique, folk and contemporary items.

We have folk art cats and cows, Mid Century furniture, miscellaneous books, Native American weaving, Maine books, an antique gossip bench and more!

2 Vintage Art Glass Style Candy/Nut Dishes with Handles (price is for both)

These matching glass candy or nut trays with handles are lovely. As near as I can tell, they aren’t depression glass, and were probably made in the 1960s.

Condition: Previously owned, excellent condition. No chips, cracks or other blemishes noted.

Dimensions: 12″ in diameter. Just under 6″ high with handle.

Price: $24.00 for both or $14.00 each.
