All of the items we offer are vintage, antique or simply pre-owned.  Therefore, reasonable wear & tear is to be expected, and our items are sold as seen and as described in the photos and/or in person.
We try to describe any damage, nicks, blemishes or other problems of which we are aware in any and all of our listings, and always include plenty of clear photographs which are integral to the description, so please review them closely.
Also, please be aware that vintage and antique items are unlikely to be in factory condition, so if you aren’t used to buying antique or vintage items – and are in fact looking for a pristine, unused item – a new reproduction may be better suited for you. We ordinarily do not “clean up” items because such cleaning may detract from their value.
We are specific and honest in our descriptions because we want happy buyers who will return and/or refer their friends!

Own a piece of Livermore, Maine’s history!  This 36-page Open House / Grand Opening  brochure is older than I am! (Albeit not by much.)  The front cover was signed by then Maine Governor Burton L Cross, and is filled with advertising and the names of local “Factory Bond Purchasers”.

Format:  Glossy, 36 page brochure plus cover.  Black & white.

Price
:  $8.00 + 44c Maine State Sales Tax = $8.44.

# Available:  one

Publish Date: June 5th, 1954

Condition:  Has some minor staining and page curls.  The white shading that shows in the photos is from the camera flash and is not seen in the print itself.

Location:  Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps, 189 B Main Street, Lewiston  ME.   You can find it in our Maine & New England section.

 156

NOTE:  With the exception of books, maps & music, most of our antique and other inventory can now be found at one of the great antique shops or flea markets listed here:  https://heritagecollectiblesmaine.com/details-hours/

We hope you will enjoy our booths at those locations as you did our shop on Main Street.

For those dying to check out the revamped Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps, we are still in the same building, but our new entrance is at the back of that building.  You’ll see some signs in the windows saying “Heritage Collectibles”, “Retail Shop” and “Welcome”!

Just turn off Main Street in Lewiston onto Park Street and park in the first available parking spot.  The entrance is through the door at the end of the building on the right hand side.  You’ll see signs in the windows (“Retail Store” and “Heritage Collectibles” and “Antiques” as well as others; you’ll also see my silver Jeep Liberty parked there.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us for the past three+ years!

*****************************

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.
He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.

Follow our blog at https://warrior-project.org, in honor of my husband, and all others who have been lost to internal demons that in the end, overwhelmed them.

All of the profits after expenses from Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps will go to help fund The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention drop-in and counseling center in the process of being developed.

(Please Note: The Grief Warrior Project is in no way intended to be reflective of, or piggy back off, Wounded Warriors which serves those military personnel wounded after September 11, 20o1.  Like too many others, John was a warrior long before then.)

Wedding Seating Plan (?) – $25.00

This seating plan appears to be for a wedding.  We found it at a barn sale on Riverside Drive in Auburn ME.  Some of the surnames are of local folk – ancestors, it seems.

There’s nothing to indicate the year nor the event.  The seating plan is typed on heavy paper with an embossed floral design on one side, and a fold crease down the middle.  The frame is in “picture perfect condition” – remarkable given its apparent age and the location where we found it.
