Here’s Our New Layout – We’ve Stuffed a LOT of Books, Art & Music Into This Space!

Our new hours will be 10:30-4:00 on Saturdays, and 10:30-2:00 on Sundays.

Come visit… the coffee pot will be on!

NOTE:  Although we still have some antiques, art and collectibles at our retail shop, we’ve moved much of our inventory to other locations.  However, we’ve kept our books, maps & music, and would love to see you in our great space at 189 B Main Street in Lewiston.  (Our customers will remember the space as our furniture gallery, in the back of the main retail shop area.)

To check out our other great inventory, please visit both the Undercover Antique Mall, Route 26 in Oxford and The Den of Antiquities, 1399 Bridgton Road in Westbrook!

We hope you will enjoy our booths at those locations as you did our shop on Main Street.

As far as visiting the revamped Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps, as noted above, we are still in the same building, but our new entrance is at the back of that building.  You’ll see some signs in the windows saying “Heritage Collectibles”, “Retail Shop” and “Welcome”!  If our “Open” flag – or Johnny’s favorite black & white pirate flag – are flying, then just come on in through the industrial-looking door!

Directions:  Turn off Main Street in Lewiston onto Park Street and park in the first available spot (the meters are free on the weekends).  The entrance is through the door at the end of the building on the right hand side.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us for the past four years!

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.
He loved our shops, especially the section we called Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – that was his baby.

He loved me like crazy, and oh how I loved him.

Follow our blog at, in honor of my husband, and all others who have been lost to internal demons that in the end, overwhelmed them.

All of the profits after expenses from Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps will go to help fund The Grief Warrior Project, a suicide prevention drop-in and counseling center in the process of being developed.

(Please Note: The Grief Warrior Project is in no way intended to be reflective of, or piggy back off, Wounded Warriors which serves those military personnel wounded after September 11, 20o1.  Like too many others, John was a warrior long before then.)
