Wow! This past week has been tough… between my Jeep being in the shop, my daughter visiting from Los Angeles, the snow and my day job, we’ve barely been open…. And this coming week, including today, seems almost as challenging.
Although I’m scheduled to open the shop from 10:00-12:00 today – with plans to be closed the rest of the day in order to get Daughter to the Jetport so she can fly home to Los Angeles – that flight out now doesn’t seem likely. I’m betting dollars to donuts Daughter’s flight is grounded (and she may not be able to fly out tomorrow, either but if she does, that will likely mean I’ll miss the auction).
Am playing it all by ear… Gotta be flexible, right?
If you’re coming from any distance, please give me a call ahead of time to ensure I’ll be open!
Heritage Collectibles and Heritage Books & Maps are being combined into one shop: Heritage Collectibles, Books & Maps, located at 189 Main Street in Lewiston. We’ll still have two separate blogs: https://heritagecollectiblesmaine.com and https://heritagebooksandmaps.com.
Please follow either or both, and show us you like us! (The more followers, likes and comments we have, the more impetus we have to put our efforts into presenting you with cool products and fascinating reads!)
Papa’s Thrift Shop is being re-opened at 5 Park Street (same building, separate entrance around the corner)! We hope to be up and running by February 15. Papa’s website is: https://papasthriftshop.com/

In memory of my beloved husband John K Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.
He loved our shops, especially Heritage Books, Maps & Ephemera – it was his baby.
He loved me, and oh how I loved him.
Follow our blog at https://warrior-project.org, in honor of my husband, and all others who have been lost to internal demons that in the end, overwhelmed them.
